Appeals

Has worked on appeals in the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Missouri Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, including Petitions for Rehearing En Banc and a Petition for Certiorari to the United States Supreme Court. In law school, he was a semi-finalist in the Wiley Rutledge Moot Court Competition and participated in the Environmental Law Moot Court Competition.

An attorney who enjoys actually being in court, he has appearances most days. Handles felonies and misdemeanors in Michigan and Wisconsin, taking cases as small as a 30 day misdemeanor and as high as a possible life sentence to a jury.

Civil Litigation

Extensive experience in civil litigation, he has litigated contract disputes, fraud, employment, real estate, and malpractice cases. Experience representing both the plaintiff and the defendant.

Real Estate

Enjoys handling real estate matters, and has argued easements not only at the trial court, but to the Michigan Court of appeals (mostly successfully).

Mr. Muskett has experience with divorces, neglect and abuse cases, and has represented governmental entities at both the municipal and county level, handling everything from blight to mental health commitments.
